CINEMATEK pays homage to the unique films of Belgian film maker André Delvaux and publishes a whole collection devoted to his work. Over a period of 2 years (from October 2010 to December 2012) six films will be restored and made available in a DVD format.

The newest release in this collection is Benvenuta.
Cast Fanny Ardant: Benvenuta / Vittorio Gassman: Livio Carpi / Françoise Fabian: Jeanne / Mathieu Carrière: François / Claire Wauthion: Inge / Philippe Geluck: Le père / Anne Chappuis: La mère

Met onze jongens aan den Ijzer (With Our Troops on the Yser) at The Digital Fix, the first in a series of reviews looking at Cinematek's non-fiction output (plus a review of their Avant-Garde set coming soon also).

(Wrong topic, I know, but "Flemish cinema on DVD" doesn't exist and I didn't want to make one for this purpose)

Stumbled upon a chance to get this boxset at a good price - can anyone advise if these films are worth the while: Flemish Films Classic Collection 40DVD

DVD edition from Thierry Zéno including Bouche sans fond ouverte sur les horizons (1971), Vase de noces (1974) (very disturbing film!) and Of the Dead (1979).
