Went for Wild River, Wooden Crosses and Pickup on South Street. I'm saving up all these great classic films for when I get my projector in my new home. Don't want to waste them on my (quality) Samsung 32 inch!

Eureka's Amazon store has changed all the prices now. Shoah jumped from 29 to 39 pounds for example. Waited too long on that one - again!

I'll be very upset if I do not get my Man With a Movie Camera, as I pre-ordered it as soon as it was available.

MoC have been plugging it on twitter, so not sure why you think we won't be getting one.

Buster Blu Ray set down to 27.43
Still not sure what it's going to retail at, but it looks like the DVD set is listed at 26 GBP on the Eureka site, so this could be a great deal.

The Murnau set is £29.99 at Zavvi and some coupons may work on it. My NUS Extra (10%) discount does.

I'd be stunned if this was close to selling out already.

I got my shipping confirmation for it! I don't think they'll sell out that quick but kinda funny a Russian documentary from the 20s is in the conversation.

Re: MoC: Cheapest Prices/Best Places to Buy/Pre-Orders/Deals
My math is horrible, but doesn't £12.50 (for the 2 for 25 offer) come out to almost exactly what the price is for US buyers once VAT is removed?Pepsi wrote:Actually £12.50 (two for £ 25).It's back at £14.99 on Amazon UK - I just ordered one!
In other words, is there anything to be gained for non-UK buyers by taking advantage of the offer?

Re: MoC: Cheapest Prices/Best Places to Buy/Pre-Orders/Deals
Yes, your math is correct. I ordered at 14.99 and after VAT removal it was about 12.49. In either case, an excellent deal on a great title and a great excuse to add another disc to your shopping cart. ("Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" and "Nikkatsu Diamond Guys, Vol 1" are currently in my cart in the 2-for-25 sale.)

Taking advantage of the low £ and hoping to lock in the international customers now?

If they charge later, one might not take advantage of the current low £ (except, of course, if it drops even more !) (which it does !).Ribs wrote:Taking advantage of the low £ and hoping to lock in the international customers now?

Oops, I misread their line about it. I understood they were charging at the time of the delivery "closer to release date". My bad.Ribs wrote:It specifically states you are charged now.
