Quarantined Monthly Guessing Thread

The scuttlebutt on Criterion, Eclipse, and Janus Films. Lists and polls are STRONGLY discouraged.

Criterion's staff had no doubt already left early to stand in line for Book of Henry tickets

Absolutely savage. Well done.

I'm hoping we get announcements tomorrow. Although Criterion doing anything on time has become a joke in itself has it not?

They've never issued an official statement as to when they are releasing new titles---just a pattern for diehards; they'll announce when they're ready. July and August were light on new titles and light on supplements (in the case of Stalker, frustratingly light), so perhaps they'll have another hefty month for us going into the weekend that'll make you forget your minor hassle.

In general, though, they are usually on time. I'll happily spot them one.

Honestly, despite my guesses, this plus Night of the Living Dead seems likely, though I don't believe Criterion's ever had an all English-language release month

You totally weren't asking and I am super sorry that I even felt the need to check but December 2014 (Tootsie, Night Porter, Safe, Time Bandits) would qualify.

Wow, it's been so long since I've seen the Night Porter that I would have sworn it was in French, probably because of Rampling
