No booklet in Irma Vep - hoped for one as the website still had the first pressing notice up during the Easter sale - but they just emailed me the pdf.
Mine didn't have one either and I bought it a while ago (just left unopened until last night), huge bummer - guess I'll email them about the .pdf too, thanks for the tip

I read in this thread some people received no booklets for The Grand Duel and Horrors of Malformed Men but mine arrived with booklets from a June 3rd Unobstructed View purchase. Kansas City and Dream Demon are recent releases so they have booklets, the latter in a slipcase and with a poster. Surprised the 18 month old Black Angel had a booklet and the older Django, Prepare a Coffin naturally didn't have the booklet.

Booklets for Pickup Alley and Model Shop received.

No slip case and no booklet for The Far Country. Pretty disappointed at that.

No booklet for Man of a Thousand Faces and Sheba Baby, but got one for Kansas City, Manon, Edge of the Axe, Tower of London and One Missed Call Trilogy (plus slipcover). Those last three I got from HMV online, so I don't know if that was a factor.

So in all, bit surprised Man of a Thousand Faces is apparently into a second pressing already. I figured that would be a slower seller for Arrow, but perhaps all the Lon Chaney fanatics really went wild for it?

Or maybe they figured they could just not print a booklet for that one and no one would ever notice?

I have a very strong belief that the booklets last way longer in the American releases and I’m not sure I really have any evidence for that, beyond that I’ve never had bad luck despite picking up older titles somewhat frequently. But I’ve also always had good luck with the UK booklets too, so I dunno. Most of what I bought in the sale is older so I do not expect any to have them.

If Arrow insists on restricting the booklets to “first printing only”, I really wish that that they would package all their first printings in O-cards so that both the buyer *and* the seller would know what is being sold. The fact that Arrow themselves have no idea whether an item they are shipping has a booklet or not (because there is no external indication) is inexcusable.

It's getting into loot box territory, where people are buying a product with no real understanding of what they're going to receive.

Who's designing their releases and planning their distribution so that every arrival of a standard Arrow title is greeted by either just disappointment or relief? Getting your hands on a boutique label's Blu-rays should just be a feeling of pure excitement.

At this point, if you're chasing the booklet or slip, you're better off getting these titles from HMV, Amazon or Zavvi rather than Arrow themselves. I managed to get Edge of the Axe with a booklet from HMV, but others received it from Arrow without. A shame the Academy titles aren't on sale elsewhere though!

Given that they've been out for awhile and how cheap they were on sale for at MVD, I was quite surprised to receive booklets for The Big Knife and Terror in a Texas Town. Alas I'll need to get a replacement disc for The Big Knife.

Forreal, though it feels right that I can now officially declare my demonlover booklet to be priceless

FWIW I recently ordered Cruising from Amazon US and The Loveless from Deep Discount and both came without booklets

Yeah, unfortunately, I've received a couple of US titles that I ordered around release date since this all began that came without. Maybe it's more true, but I don't think it's enough so to make a huge difference. Guess you've just been lucky, Ribs!

It's not quite Code Red bad, but in some ways it's getting there. I was looking at getting four of their film noir titles late last year, I think, and was relieved to find out that Flicker Alley had released duplicate versions right down to the booklet contents, so that was an easy choice to make.

My run of good luck has ended: after having never before recieved a release without a booklet that once came with one, my sale order was missing three: Nightfall, Detective Bureau 2-3, and Horror Express. The Iguana With the Tongue of Fire was the sole older release that still had one. Ah well!

FWIW, my most recent order included the following *with* booklets: Hold Back the Dawn, Kansas City

The following had no booklet: The Human Condition (as expected), Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice

Is there a master list somewhere with confirmed bookletless titles? (The first post in this thread has some 2019 confirmations, but hasn't been updated in a while.)

The booklet for Iguana is really interesting, one of the best alongside Hiroshima. It's a crime that you have to play silly-buggers lottery to get them.

Stocked up on some noirs, most did not have a booklet. Sort of expected at this point, but still disappointing.

No booklet: The Big Knife, Too Late for Tears, Blue Dahlia, Glass Key
With booklet: Woman on the Run

There wasn't any indication that Too Late for Tears had a first pressing only booklet, I figured everything was just replicated from the Flicker Alley release.
This had a booklet too.

Yeah sorry, found out just after posting but didn't edit. No mention of it on Beaver or DVDCompare so went with it.

Oh no, I meant I assumed there would always be a booklet, as in it wasn't limited to a first pressing. Which all things considered, is ridiculous to think so. Boy what a rough day--sorry everyone!

Five out of eight blu-rays arrived from my July 1 Zavvi order thus far and The Bloodstained Butterfly came with a booklet. The other four (The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave, Dr. Phibes Rises Again, Death Walks on High Heels, and The Case of the Scorpion's Tail) I was not expecting booklets even though I have the PDF booklet for Scorpion's Tail.
