From 2008 Scott Nyerges' Autumnal is missing. The film can be found in this article that was linked to the board in the Tree of Life thread.

As has been brought to my attention in the '30s thread the Len Lye film The Peanut Vendor seems to be missing. From all the information I've been able to gather it seems like a case of wrongful credit with the film on IMDB, but credited to Dave Fleischer.

Edit: I really wish I could figure out IMDB's new set up so I can start adding things again. Anyways, Miguel Gomes' Cántico das criaturas is also missing. It's 24 minutes long from 2006, the composer is Mariana Ricardo and cinematographer is Rui Poças. The film stars João Nicolau, Mariana Ricardo, and Paolo Manera. It was either produced or distributed by O Som e a Fúria and will be released by Second Run in the UK.

...Die Antigone des Sophokles nach der Hölderlinschen Übertragung für die Bühne bearbeitet von Brecht 1948 (Suhrkamp Verlag) ("Sophocles' Antigone, from the Hölderlin translation, adapted for the stage by Brecht in 1948 (Suhrkamp Verlag)")

Mentioning the publishing house right in the title (apparently to highlight the difficulties Huillet and Straub had getting the rights to the text) is what clinches it.

Submitted under its original title Experimental Animation 1933, which is what appears on the YouTube video and how it's listed on Len Lye filmographies. The Fleischer film is an entirely separate entity being one of their 'Screen Song' animations with the bouncing ball.

Seeing as how this is the closest I can find to a general IMDB thread I'll post in here. Anyway has anyone noticed the new way they're showing the titles you've voted for? It's completely disorganized and now useless for the one thing I use it for, keeping track by year. Has anyone figured how to change it back?

Edit: Slight never mind. They have a bar on the side that I can't tell if it's genius or stupid.

Attention! Wolves! from the Kino Soviet Animation set has finally come up.

Do you know how to get rid of entries that don't exist? Every once in a while I'll pop into one and it's just a slight annoyance.

I don't know what year this is from nor can I read Czech so I can't even add that properly, but this Mr. Prokouk film is missing from the database.

Jim Davis is not on there, he's got a couple of dvds that re:voir distributes and was big mates with Stan Brakhage (Brakhage made a documentary about him and Markopoulos). Impulses (1958) is one of the best films I've ever seen.

I've put several films on IMDb recently, but don't know where to start here, don't know his biographical material, and there are so many Jim Davises already on IMDb.

UPDATE: He's on at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4691462/ and I wrote him a biography

Missing film: Centre Forward (1978)

Original title:
Image

Directed by: Pak Chong Song (not on imdb) and Kim Kil In (not on imdb)
Cast: unknown
Duration: 75min

2010 restoration released by Koryo Tours. I can hardly find any info on the film, so I cannot add it to imdb. Maybe somebody else can?

I have the disc. There are no credits in the film itself -- the Korean words that appear onscreen at the beginning and end turn out to be song lyrics ("Oh, we are sportspersons of the Leader") -- but there's some information on the case. I've written the names in the IMDb's preferred order (given name-family name), with the family names capitalized.

Korean title (romanized): Junggang gonggyeoksu
Actual runtime: 70 mins. (67:17 PAL adjusted to 24fps -- the 75-minute runtime includes the special features as well as the movie itself)
Cast: In Son CHA ("In Son"), Tae Su PAK ("Coach"), Chol Gyu HAM, Chang CHOI
Script: Ju Yong SOL
Director of photography: Son Gyu PAK
Production company: Rendered in the subtitles as "Korean Film"; also known in various sources as "Choson Film," "Chosŏn Yŏnghwa," "Joseon Yeonghwa," etc. This was also the name of the Japanese-run film monopoly during the late colonial era (which has one IMDb credit), but there doesn't seem to be a listing for the North Korean incarnation of the company. Their logo, incidentally, looks like a mashup of the Mosfilm and Lenfilm logos.
Distributors: Korea Film Import & Export Corporation [kp] (international), Koryo Tours [cn] (DVD, 2010)

I submitted Centre Forward to IMDb. It seems like IMDbchanged the title to Chunganggonggyoksu (I submitted Junggang gonggyeoksu).

Edit: I think something went wrong and two people added it, with slightly different data.

"Chunganggonggyoksu" reflects North Korea's preferred romanization, except the IMDb doesn't seem to support the characters with breves (it should be "Chunganggonggyŏksu"). The South Korean system ducks this by only using regular ASCII letters, so it's better for IMDb purposes.

Added the missing films from the Kluge King Kong and Angriff sets. Hopefully they'll come up swiftly. Also there are seven films missing from the new Criterion Frampton set. I don't know enough about them to add them myself.
