Tenia, do you have some secret leak source?

edit: this was intended as a joke which then went in weird directions

Just in general, but I still predict a release of Gone Girl at some point.

Amazon put up the links and took it down earlier this morning from what I have gathered. Let's see the official one. May still be changed...

For now as per Tenia:
Barry Lyndon
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me
Personal Shopper
Vampyr
The Lure

and It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World re-release.

Have a great start of the week. Still reeling from GOTS7 Premiere and TP Episode 10!

If true, Vampyr is very exciting and surprising considering how much work it needs. And we may have to rethink the candles in the wacky drawing is for Barry Lyndon.

No offence to the recently departed, but I'll gladly take Barry Lyndon over Night of the Living Dead. Very gladly.

Minus Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me which is a pointless release IMO (unless it is over the moon with new special features) I like this lineup.

It is being released in October in France as part of a Dreyer blu box by Potemkine so it was on the cards. Having said that I don't know the provenance of the resto and whether it is the same as Criterion would use.

As Reeniop41 wrote, just Amazon.com product pages that showed up. I'm checking up Amazon on announcement days for some months, it usually works quite well in the UK for Arrow, MoC and Indicator.

Yeah the Academy Arrow ones are on Amazon UK already.

You saw leaked Criterion titles mentioned on bd.com, and than you posted it here. That's the truth.

Er, whoa there, calm down, it's really not worth getting into accusations of anything over, and frankly it's not something that Blu-ray really deserves any credit for finding out anyway (and I really don't understand why you'd doubt his word either).

Now we know the releases (more or less) might we be due an early lock?

I actually double checked first because Amazon.com, like blu-ray.com, have many phantom Criterion product pages. These ones looked legit because they also had separate product pages for the DVDs, which IIRC is unusual for phantom pages (where only the BD is usually created). However, they don't yet have a release date so that left me with still some doubt about them being 100% locked.

But thanks for this interaction, I guess. Very happy to chat with you, John Doe.

They are not even listed as "Criterion" on Amazon. Like I said, you saw them mentioned on bd.com Criterion thread, and came here to post them. I can't fathom why would a middle age guy like yourself showcasing this silly behavior.

Toni Erdmann for whatever reason feels to me like a *super* December release, but I dunno.

November:
The Breakfast Club / Sixteen Candles / Weird Science
Tom Jones
Dersu Uzala (our obligatory November Kurosawa)
The Magnificent Ambersons
Camera Buff
Hamlet (upgrade)

The Philadelphia Story
Something Chaplin (Circus?)
Toni Erdmann
Rhapsody in August (going for a surprise out of nowhere guess here)
Triumph of the Will (maybe they were working on it side-by-side with Olympia)
Testament of Dr. Mabuse (upgrade)

Unrelated question: What's with all the guessing for a Complete Monterey Pop re-release? Just because of the anniversary or has there been some hint about it? Is there any way the current package could be improved? It's pretty stacked. I for one would love to see someone unearth the fabled terrible Johnny Rivers set that has never seen the light of day but I don't think it ever will.
