Personally I love that cover even as it doesn't really represent the film.

It reminds me of more of The Exorcist II's cover.

Then again, not promo art can prepare one for what lies in The Exorcist II.

The trailer, 1/3 of which is production house preamble, clears up little-- I did like how the killer used laundry to wipe up the "blood" (looks more like CranRaspberry juice to me) in the bathtub instead of, oh, I don't know, washing it down the drain

I'm thinking he doesn't pay for laundry, either.

A new winner in the worst covers thread!

Image

Honestly, who do they get to make those covers?
No sense of aesthetics?

The German release was so beautiful!

Not a bad cover per se, is that the misplaced Walmart sticker changes everything

Apparently some people at Universal felt strongly that Burt Reynold's Cop and a Half from 1993 needed a sequel in 2017.

I like that Lou Diamond Phillips grew his best approximation of the Burt Reynolds moustache. I'd prefer the film be called Cop and 3/4.

It's difficult to know who a 25 years later Cop and a Half sequel is made for, especially since Roger Ebert is not around to see it!

Last years bizarre VOD-sequel from Universal was this one:

It must have done well. I wonder what the next film they'll to a sequel to is...

If you're so inclined, you can purchase limited edition prints of each of these Dia de los Muertos-themed Blu-ray and DVD covers at Orlando Arocena's website, mexifunk limited.

Ah, but at least they held back on the "when whores meet saws!" tag-line this time around!

What makes that awful? I don’t love it, but it’s fine IMO.
