Oh my God. That's even worse than the freakin' Beverly Hills Chihuahua covers.

I actually like it, forehead-slapping typo aside. It’s better than the Criterion reissue, anyway.

I loved when Alec Baldwin and Sean Connery played dueling Jack Ryans

Are those tiny sunglasses or huge rails?

That'd be a more appropriate cover art for Kevin Smith's Tusk.

That pullquote is confusingly worded

That’s a horrible, horrible pullquote. Just leave it at “This generation’s The Exorcist” and be done.

Also, I’m sure this is just me, but the character positioning reminds me of that...suggestive Yogi Bear poster from a few years back.

I thought you were kidding.

Hereditary is in the rare minority of A24 Blu-rays that actually use the poster artwork, which is usually better than this (although I understand why they couldn't use the alternative cover, as it shows none of the actors in close-up).

That Scarface cover looks like an invisible vampire wearing sunglasses.

Wow, I had never noticed that poster before, but the tagline makes me feel like the whole thing was done intentionally by someone. Certainly, I would be very surprised to learn it was just coincidence, though I'm sure that would be the official response.

I was just browsing Amazon.it for Blu-rays and saw this treasure set for release on August 29th, 2018:

Oh, and they kept the tagline, too, which is a translation of:

"Honor, integrity, principles. Everything is negotiable."

Somehow, it all feels a little...different...in 2018 than it would have in 2010.

Perhaps in Berlosconi's Italy it is still acceptable!

And that Yogi Bear poster is terrifying.

The subtitle (Knockin' On Heaven's Door) is awkwardly placed and looks more like a tagline (plus this cover doesn't compliment the original's at all).

Why not use one of these two posters instead?
